June 19th Event – Mount St Helens Tour Update 2



What was previously a drive around MtSt Helens (too much snow!)  is now a Kelso to Ilwaco/Long Beach to Raymond to Kalama drive.  With dinner at McMenamins in Kalama. This drive is organized by Seattle Jaguar Club as an interclub event with Jaguar Owners Club of Oregon (JOCO).  This drive is June 19th


The new route will start in Kelso at 9am.  We will meet in the parking lot of the Wilco Farm Store at 200 S Kelso Dr, Kelso, WA.   Take exit 39 off I-5 and turn East on Allen St and take a Right on Kelso Dr and turn Left into Wilco Farm Store. There are restrooms, McDonalds, Shari’s, Denny’s, Dutch Boys, Starbucks and a Shell station here. 


9:15 a.m. drivers meeting 


9:30 a.m. depart Kelso for Ilwaco/Long Beach area 


11:30 a.m. arrive Ilwaco/Long Beach area for group lunch if possible, shops, lighthouses.  If anyone wants to bring a picnic lunch that is ok too. 


2:00 p.m. Depart Ilwaco/Long Beach and follow 101 toward Raymond, then east on Rt 6 toward I-5.   At Pe Ell if anyone would like to peel off and head north they could stay on Rt 6 to I-5.   Everyone else would take a right on E Pe Ell Ave and head southeast toward Vader. 


4:15 p.m., arrive at the Vader-area for those headed south.  Back on I-5 near Castle Rock. 


5:00 p.m. arrive at McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge, 215 Hendrickson Dr, Kalama, WA 98625

As always, you do not have to drive a Jaguar, all vehicles are welcome
