JOCO’s Christmas Celebration

JOCO’s Christmas Celebration

Time To Make Your Reservations for JOCO’s Christmas Celebration at Portland’s Dining Landmark.

In 1921, Rollo Simmons opened “Simmons Hillvilla” at Elks’ Point on Terwilliger Blvd. overlooking Portland. It was a great success that Simmons advertised as having “The View of a Million Lights”.

He ran it until his death in 1951 after which new owners carried it on as “Palaske’s Hillvilla” in 1954. Then, in 1985, the site was acquired by Chart House and the rest is history.

JOCO will again make our own bit of history by returning to this historic site for our 2019 Christmas Celebration. Not only will we take in a million lights from the view below, we will dine on a fabulous dinner buffet of:

Fresh Mixed Salad Greens, Entrees of Orange Glazed Salmon and Roasted Prime Rib of

Beef with Au Jus & Horseradish Cream, gourmet Pasta prepared in Rotini Tomato Basil & Freshly Grated Cheese, Side Dishes of Seasonal Vegetables, Coconut Ginger Rice,

Yukon Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and the Chart House’s famous Mud Pie dessert.

This year’s party will be at the Chart House on Sunday, December 8th in the upstairs Banquet Room starting at 6:00pm. our dinner buffet

will be served at 6:30pm. Beverages from the lounge will be available on a no-host basis. There will be raffle baskets after dinner – there is no gift exchange this year so please do not bring any gifts.

PLEASE NOTE…reservations and prepayment (required) can be made through Barbara Grayson at Consolidated Auto Works at 503.246.8477. Cost will be $35.00 per person – once again, as a member benefit, JOCO will contribute to the cost to keep each reservation at $35.00 per member.

Due to limited seating, this year’s party is open only to JOCO members. Our venue has a dining capacity of 54 total so when that number is reached, reservations will be closed. Our deadline for reservations and prepayment is Friday, November 22nd.
